Summer Cuts & Clothes: Shared

Hello my beloved readership,

summer cuts and clothes are far from strict and straight. They mark a perfect occasion to throw some established opinions off board. Read about them here.

From Cochem/Fell in Rhineland-Palatinate with love.

New situations require new ways of thinking or what was the major rule of innovation…? Nah, just kidding, exactly that: thinking outside the box, your own borders. I always thought that if two people – in this case my husband and I – did one and (almost the same work) or rather work on the same thing together at the same time while there were other things to do as well it would be far from practical. Basically to me it was rather a matter of time – a precious good – that could be invested better when two different to dos could be done in one amount of time. Personally I did not really believe that time could be saved efficiently if two people completed one job. But if things have not improved under usual routines new processes need to be tried.

After all it was not only about time but furthermore about health inside out and the health to speak out a pause in between rather than running from work to the other for the sake of getting all done and reaching the goal of me-time. But reality showed that the goal reached was only an unfulfilling covering your fundamental needs from day to day. The other way round with shared work is not only (following the rules of physics) half the work or half the time but full quality time and teaching your counterpart to help you more and still you deserve a reward.

No Strict Cuts, Relaxed Layering & Fluent Material

One dress that unites all of them – the summer cuts and clothes, no strict cuts, relaxed layering and fluent material – deserves it all. But even without uniting major summer trends this dress is something absolutely special (to me). Not at last because I almost lost hope to get it at all as it was almost always sold out in my size under the items marked as my favorites in my shopping-apps. But I believe there is no as eager shopper than me who keeps more than frequently observing an item at any time to snap as it is available again and most of the time I am furthermore lucky to catch a good deal with them.

Besides from that if you are wearing this dress right within fairy tale-like roses in between the walls of the Castle of Cochem and being called Princess Johanna you know that this dress is absolutely worthy to be worn with a treasure such as my Cornet Bag from Liz Malraux Couture – I love the match of purple and blue with a touch of deep red. Even if you are “just” wearing “simple” ballerinas with it (but hey! These ballerinas were my comfortable alternative for my wedding shoes!). Talking about colors under the bright sunlight of the Mosel-region this dress marks another important summer color besides the gaudy ones from my before last article to read here, glowing colors.

A relaxed layering, no strict cuts and fluent material are the summer cuts and clothes.
