Sometimes you are standing in front of a question hesitating “should I or should I not…?”
You want to, you need to and actually the decision over this question has already been made if there was not that one little but not unimportant factor to keep you from moving on: let us call it sweepingly “safety”.
If you stay where you are you know what to expect. No matter if it is a good situation you are in or just a situation you think you have to stay in because what you have is certainty. So either you could stay trying to make the best of it, trying to change it for good, accept the situation if you really think that you can eventually do that from the bottom of your heart or switch into a kind of “survival mode” to endure it until a certain event takes place. Let me put it in the following words: if you would like the situation you are in you would probably not even raise the question to move on or not. So if you have already started to do so know that the answer if already given.

Yes, it is true. There is nothing scarier than uncertainty – not knowing what is going to happen. You cannot always assure yourself and keep a situation while moving on trying out the uncertain situation whether it is good or not and then leave it or not. To be true you are always confronted with an “either… or…”. Also you are always going to be confronted with the questions “are you sure?” and such questions giving you another warning like “you do not know if the other place is going to be better”. In fact it is because it is a new chance and new chances are always better (generally new is always better if you listen to Barney Stinson as I referred to here). But yes the risk is there, the uncertainty to leave the assurance is there and high levels of stress connected with fear at a shaky state of being cannot be left out either but sometimes you have to take this risk and have faith in good to happen or if I may say it so faith in God helping you out of a situation during an uncertain period. Do not stay or go back to a toxic situation because you think there is no way out. Take the risk with faith.

Color of 2023: Pink

I do not always wear pink… but if I do…

…my husband asks me to always wear such an eye-catching outfit when we do trips to crowded cities so that he can find me easily,
…I receive twice of compliments also by my best friend’s husband who apparently likes this color,
…in the end I still at least wear black to block the pink with a trademark of mine.

So yes, this outfit and shooting was also created later than the trend was announced, in late May of the same year when we were on holiday at the Erzgebirge close to the Czech border. But if you looked around you could wear the color throughout the whole year. Wherever you looked there was pink.

While there was a time when I completely rejected pink I softened towards the color being in peace with the experiences I made. So I always bought some key-pieces by occasion like turtlenecks or blazers such as here, which I could very well combine with other colors. Even if I already owned business-trousers in pink this was the occasion for me to look trousers more suitable for everyday-life, jog-pants or a jeans. The search was not easy and took more than one searching–round. In the end I achieved to find a jeans in dark pink and jog-pants in raspberry-pink which matched a bit better to the whole outfit.

P.S.: Pink make-up on eyes, lips and cheeks a season-trend on its own is like the cherry on to this outfit.
