Color Of The Autumn-Season – Burgundy: Old V.S. New

Hello my beloved readership,

burgundy is the color of the season autumn. Check out how to wear it in a comfortable winterchic and have a discussion about old and new things here.

“New is always better” is just one of the very wisdoms that Barney Stinson has taught us about life. And no how silly and crazy this particular character may be throughout seven seasons also he is a legit reason that the series “How I Met Your Mother” had given us many lectures about life as you can read here. Especially what concerns this wisdom not only Barney Stinson but also the ancient vernacular says that you have to get rid of old things of yours to make space for new things. This wisdom has established within fashion who set the rule and recommend “whenever I go shopping I get rid of something in my closet”. And what about this topic in times of sustainability, recycling and facing the fast-living industry of fashion? Well, sustainability and new achievements do not have to oppose or exclude each other. See why here in the following:

Ancient people believed that old things you get rid of hold some kind of bad spirit within them that locks your continuous fortune for the future as you continue to keep it. Life takes place and with it good and bad happenings you associate your goods with: Jewelry or accessories that someone you hold bad memories onto meanwhile gifted you with, clothes you wore in a time of your life you mentally grew out of – this one often leads to a complete change of style: Rejecting a certain piece of clothing or color such as jeans, black or pink; turning from posh into Lolita or from the hip-hop-queen to the rock diva… the list is long but the sense remains the same: new is better because you get rid of old demons and invisible ties and allow yourself new fortune. But what is bad for you does not necessarily have to be bad for someone else: Your second chance could be the chance someone else has waited for while once you prefer a completely virgin piece it could have been recreated of sustainable, well recyclable materials.

So basically it is not bad to get rid of old things regularly to make space for new, no matter what kind of type you are.

“No matter what other trend you have in the season (…) burgundy will always have the imaginary crown on.”

Autumn-Trend: Burgundy

Burgundy is an always returning superstar for autumn. No matter what other trend you have in the season over the years burgundy will always have the imaginary crown on. Once you see women rocking it in burgundy you know autumn is here. As colors turn from pastel to jazzy and finally take on a damped shade since spring among all of them burgundy always takes the lead belonging to the color-family of red which is the most attention-catching of all colors. But nonetheless I put effort in combing this trend with another as important season trend: gray, which I presented you here. It formed a perfect coincidence as the gray-trend lives with colorful accents shining through. However as being present all over the look burgundy still dominates the style. This particular one was inspired by Princess Madeleine of Sweden who has returned to Sweden recently and takes on royal duties. I think she is shining with her beauty and topps it with her elegant and feminine business-style.
