What a mess! – It is autumn 2024 and the voting results of 2022 are just there. Well, you know there had a been a long delay due to other projects with a more urgent priority. Anyway in the highlights of my Instagram profile (@JohannaKarajan) the lookbook of 2022 is finally out for you to check out whenever you need to and want to and summed up for you to easily find. That was the starting signal for me to start the voting. As I have left the voting to Instagram as there is a far more active community. My Facebook-page here is still active but not as interactive in comparison and as there has already been quite a delay this way my solution for now. Huge thanks to everyone who participated in the voting and has raised a voice on that. Finally it was time for me to twist the turns and make you give me your feedback in this way.

Best of… Favorite Look 2022

Out of 32 looks your favorite look of 2022 was my actual first look I wore in 2022. It was Valentine’s Day 2022. Our daughter was tender one and a half months old and the lockdown-rules due to the COVID-19 pandemics were still ongoing, while my husband and I were trying to celebrate our seventh anniversary. Due to the given circumstances we ordered two plates of sushi at home arranged a rose wine and enjoyed an intense dinner at home. For the given occasion this 70s style was actually quite a good match: My husband loves leo-print and as this was the key-piece of the outfit it could be styled in any way. With torn jeans and the correspondingly reduced make-up as well as long and shiny hair à la Donna Pinciotti portrayed by Laura Prepon it was chic and casual at the same time. Best of… Favorite Nail-Art 2022

Your favorite nail-art of the passed year has also been the first naildo I presented you in 2022. I was inspired for these two colors to put on my nails by two members of my favorite band, Vanilla Ninja, Lenna Kuurmaa and Katrin Siska (who has left the band recently but with no doubt will stay a Ninja in her heart always). I had seen Lenna frequently wear intense pastel colors like this blue pretty often – especially in summer – and Katrin seemed to have found this neon orange for herself. The composition of both was an absolute master piece in my eyes and obviously you confirmed this impression of mine which I had. However I wonder if probably the background we chose for this nail-art supported it to get this popularity. Well, only you could tell. Check out the nail-art again here.

Best of… Favorite Make-Up 2022

Personally, I always say that people will notice when you like something and recognize you looking good on it. That probably explains your favorite make-up of 2022: Lilac; lilac lips combined with a lilac scrunchie and a black alice band with lilac flowers worn to a basically lilac outfit. What interests me most is if the hairdo also made its contribution to the make-up voted as your favorite. In that case I could definitely declare this section not only favorite make-up but generally MUAH (short for maue-up & hair) for next year. I was struggling whether to choose all the different make-ups I put on for my looks or to only take those referring to trends as the votes had already been ongoing for a long time compared to the time that passed. Next Votes Following Soon

As you might have seen on my Instagram account the presentation of my looks as well as my nail-dos I wore in 2023 are already ongoing. So They continue to do on my Facebook page. Since the year 2024 is coming to an end slowly but surely at this time the voting needs to start soon. So stay tuned and get your fingers as well devices ready to vote your favorites.
