Nostalgic Details: Attack Of Panic

Hello my dear readership,

at the end of the year we become as longing as we can be with a brought back look that gathers two trends: nostalgic details with overknees. See more here.

“There’s a panic in you
there’s a panic in myself
talking heads inside us
and they try to bring me

down
down, down, down, down, down”

A famous song and an even popular song for me by the sister duo known as Aly & AJ.

Do you also feel like songs and their lyrics get a deeper meaning once you identifying with them?

I cannot quite tell, I mean had heard of people close to me having them and as a strong, self-confident woman and mother (at least one who was forced and raised to be strong always) I never thought it could happen to me that I can get them, but I think it happened during my masters studies when I realized that there are things that scare me and to be more precise that there are things that panic me like a hit by a lightning. Luckily I could entrust these thoughts I realized to a person I feel deeply, sisterly connected to because until that moment I always categorized attacks of panic a psychological matter but this person schooled me better:

“Sounds like a tired mind”, she said and she might have been actually right. I was quite tired, sleep derived, out of breath, there had been moments when I was absolutely clueless and moments of abrupt failures of my brain-functions during operation. You do not need to sit in a corner absolutely confused and paralyzed. Also attacks of panic do not directly include you to book your next appointment at the psychologist’s. You can heal all by yourself or by the help of angels you have nearby. An attack of panic basically includes stress and tiredness as clear symptoms. Perhaps it can already help you to find the one or other definition or synonyms to your problem to find easy ways to heal. I for myself try to reduce high levels of stress and get as much rest awake and asleep as possible to heal and prevent.

Trend: Overknees

This look basically is a ping-back to the best rated look of 2021 here. My husband who is also the main photographer for my blog when I am not behind the camera had taken photos of me when the official shooting was over and we actually did not know what we would use these photos for even if they looked quite nice. My husband liked the beret combined with the extra big sunglasses as well as the coat and discreet scarf all minimalistic in one color with just the strong red lipstick lifting up. This look had quite the Princess Catherine style and a celebrity style with the head- and facial pieces. In the ping-back you can see that the look includes overknees. A runner-up this year.

“Nostalgia in my opinion is connected to personal emotions […]”

Trend: Nostalgic Details

So these photos were taken, they looked actually good but we did not really know what we could use them for. Well now, as we could find out they were quite useful to underline the black overknees I was wearing to this coat-look. Other than that the end of this year is calling for nostalgic details to be celebrated as trend and in my case what could have been more nostalgic than my coat and beret from young teenage days of more than 15 years ago? Nostalgia in my opinion is connected to personal emotions even if in the means of fashion it can relate to the retro-mania that has been dominating this autumn/winter season.
