Holiday-Style #4 – Gold On White: You Logisticians Are Not Any Better

Hello my dear readers,

welcome to St. Tropez is not a chart-breaker that we cannot get out of our heads since 2009 it is one of the must-wear holiday-styles 2022. Check it out here.

In one of my previous articles I kind of bashed hard against the so called ESTJ (also known as “Executive”) personality-type – at least the unhealthy one. To be fair I had also raised the question if not all the types have kind of their weaknesses when being unhealthy. Certainly… but I also need to tell you that so far this particular personality-type is one I always have to have bad experiences with which cost me an important part of my life (no worries, I am fine). Even when I get to see them as fictional characters I experience them to be quite as bad as in reality, hardly turning any better for good. But in fact there is another personality-type that may be a good competition to them in these manners. Guess what, it is exactly the introverted type the so called “Logisticians” shortly known as ISTJ (introverted-observing-thinking-judging).

I am talking out of experience when dealing with this personality-type to the accusing does not come about without good reason whereas I must admit that I not scientifically proven met someone from this type but if you have some kind of a psychological know-how and know about some traits that go to one or the other extreme you can more or less figure out the being of a type according to Myers-Briggs. So where should I start with them? That they are way too uptight? Far from (or the complete opposite of) considerate? Or probably demanding of their own rules and far from any reality when it comes to be clear about them? They may be missing the aggressive energy that they extroverted type is transmitting but basically they are as bad or let us say not any better than the Executives. Logisticians simply cause the trouble in a passive way so that those who face them may look cause the actual pain. But it is in fact this passive introverted thinking that causes the serious problem which makes you finally give up at some point for your own sake. Observing judgers with their lacking openness and short-mindedness on top may reach insulting heights towards their opposite. With their dominant trait of self-centeredness they easily make themselves the victims without even considering to see a mistake in themselves. How sad that exactly at this point your introversion completely fails.

“(…) thus the option of having white gold, rose gold or diamonds in the end the final decision always remains yellow gold.”

Holiday-Trend: St. Tropez

I may belong to those hidden treasure hunters among the travelers but let us agree that there are four main holiday-destinations for summer: Thailand/India/Asia, Portugal, the Slavic south/Turkiye/Greek islands and then last but not least there is the French Riviera in particular with St. Tropez as the most glamorous and luxurious one. Then again, I do not know what about you but when I think of St. Tropez the first thing that comes to my mind are P.Diddy’s famous white parties. Even though through the years it is not necessary any longer to meticulously separate gold and silver for this trend let us once again go old-fashion and do so and put gold under the spotlight. Because there is no material and color symbolizing luxury more than gold does. The pharaohs of Ancient Egypt knew it and thus the option of having white gold, rose gold or diamonds in the end the final decision always remains yellow gold. It may look like it is more of a gold on black and white looking very much like the last holiday-style I presented you here but black simply serves as accent here matching my dark hair. Otherwise you could have as well taken skin color or beige.
