Hello long, long time my beloved readership,

FIBIT – fashion is back in town, fringes 2022 are back and not only them but also me. As I do not want to trick on you have a news-update here.

We already had this once not long ago, here in 2020. Back then I was graduating my bachelor of arts studies, I had a one-year-old son and standing in front of the question: what next (in life)? It was not that I did not want to but no matter how serious I took it blogging could not be the center of my life as a firm job with a safe salary would be – even though as a contrast it is an important balance in my life. Today two years later I am finding myself in a similar situation: I recently gave birth to my second child, am graduating my master-degree and looking for a job (and that is just the least that is on the agenda – as if this would not already sound like a lot). It would not be my fate if privately things would not be heavy, too.

In between these periods, of course, I managed to take a look (or two) into fashion-magazines, collect trends, had occasions to wear them so that my husband could shoot them. But in fact he often confronted me with the question “do you simply not want to skip this period in between and start anew?”. You cannot imagine how this question would have freaked me out. No, I resisted to do so because on the one hand I like stringency and on the other hand I knew that one day I would make it again. So the question was not even if my readers, you, would understand it or not but a personal struggle.

Of course, the technique of CMS allow to twist and turn things as if you were a magician. It is pretty much an open secret that you can write from the year 2024 and still pretend it to be 2022 (which I am actually doing) – even though you should rather use this ability to backdate and prepare articles pretty much automatically. o thanks to that it was possible for me to make up my blog at a later period when at that actual time some other things had higher priorities, after all, the photos had already been taken. After completely graduating, I must admit that on the one hand I was looking to hit on projects to fulfill myself such as taking vocal lessons but on the other hand I also needed to calm down from all the stress of the passed months and years of pressure to perform.

I escaped into video games, series, movies, friends but also workout, travel and spending time in nature. You probably notice that I was not really motivated to write professional, SEO-optimized articles for my blog. Having to write factual articles about holiday destinations (from 2021 which I first did not write in the first run after making up my blog for the first time because it would have taken too much time and effort) was not a pleasure or balance to me but rather an evil must. But I do not quite remember when and how but at one point I gained back my motivation (even though I also did experience moments of despair when texts I had already written disappeared unsaved when reloaded my draft) to blog and finalize these articles to finally write about fashion and inspiration. I hope that this is going to be the last long delay.

Fringes 2022

As I checked out the fashion magazines I realized that the fashion-trends have been frequently reappearing since 2021. That makes my work somewhat easier. I could reduce the articles I need to make up to the most necessary ones. Therefore I do not need repeat trends one year after the other or feel the need to take photos even if I wear such a trend again. The occasions were there but not that frequent. Also I did not need to buy new items at any cost to impress and reinvent a trend. You would have needed to be creative yet stylish enough to wear one trend-item in solid and authentic yet different ways. With the fringes I must admit that I forgot that I posted about them in 2021 but I did not really mind as I had this trend as different it-pieces and like to rewear them if I am really into them.
