not my usual kind of nail art: French and black instead of white. Read here why I had decided for such a discreet nail-art and find out about the chosen color.

Black is the color of boldness – in times of uncertainty and insecurity resulting from this always remember to have a plan of battle and a strategy. Remember what you learned from meaningful partners who tell you about their way to success. Perhaps when you have a feeling manifested it can be lack of resiliency – for which meanwhile there are workshops offered when you have always been that kind of exam nerves person – or it can be a result of your unmistaken intuition. You can keep on hoping getting yourself of the good-luck-charms and prayers that you want. Sometimes the decision has already been made before you actually want to realize (because your intuition already indicates that there is something you have known deep inside). And with the wrong people facing you you have no chance to make an impact to a different outcome thus the fight. But it is right and good that you do not surrender before having entered the battlefield.

Even if you sense the outcome it is better to try and face the situation than not having fought at all. While people say that you should always deliver bad news with a good lipstick on it is the same for the other way round: If a situation scares you (or if it is one you respect and hope for a good outcome which goes beyond your single control) put on your armor. It is like a shield to guard you. I do not mean that you should put on your best or most expensive clothes (sometimes people die anyway when you just have a clean appearance) but dress clean and tidy, have a meticulous appearance and wear bold colors. It is a strategy. Do not show signs of insecurity and always stand bold. When people realize that you are seemingly fearless, calm and controlled it is the way to make you less contestable and even if you may lose the battle. You will still walk out proudly and eventually win the war. A clean steady appearance as a part of your strategy will give you a corresponding feeling of security not only to the outside but furthermore inside for yourself. When you stand bold you may not hold the free ticket to win at any chance but at least protect yourself from your enemies.Even if you sense the outcome it is better to try and face the situation than not having fought at all.

“It has got to be very discreet. Really, very discreet!”, I could not say this enough to my nail-stylist who also usually knows me for picking eye-catching, colorful and shiny nail-dos. This time it was the complete opposite: very short nails, no color, French, black. The only thing is that I chose the gleaming instead of matte (as this coating gets visibly damaged quickly and easily). This surprising nail-art made my usually silent and less talkative nail-stylist ask me why. In fact, I discovered this kind of nail art on the nails of my vocal coach whom I shared my sorrow with. She had beautiful discreet nails properly done. This was what I needed: A discreet nail-art far from eye-catching. Also I grew tired from long nails breaking quickly and easily. This was the only positive part about this choice. Otherwise I can just say that I am having a serious appointment where any kind of “loud” nail art would be highly misplaced – at least that was how it felt like.
