Hello my beloved readership,

the summer styles 2024 have many facets. Most of them can be worn together: the maxi dress in the center with denim and golden accessories as seen here.

Guys, I am wasting my time! Okay, I am not wasting my time actively, intentionally but I am wasting my time hesitating, brooding over all kinds of things, tackling with problems and surviving instead of actually living. God, I can nearly consider myself over 30 and I still have not started actually living yet. Yes, one might possibly consider me ungrateful as I have a loving husband and two wonderful children but at times I have felt to live to just to serve my children, tidying up behind my husband and complaining about him because I am stressed and left alone with everything.

The future is now; do you remember all those dreams you used to have as child and even in your youth when you still dared to dream big? Do you remember this colorful world you have created in your mind that you considered your reality and if not you would make it happen because you believed in yourself to be capable of doing so?

The future is now; I am sorry to be sorry and sick and tired of all this nonsense going on around me – like I would be a magnet attracting all these problems for I-do-not-know-what while everyone is blossoming out in their passions and creative projects. Trust me, I would also like to… just generally dedicate myself to something creative rather than writing the x-th complaint-mail. I feel so pitiful about myself, like a disgrace and failure. Low compared to all those people around me living simply their best life. This is something that inspires me and something I want to take as good example for me to simply wave off all those pointless conflicts, let go and move on.

The future is now; it is time to act, now. If I do not act, now, later it will be too late later on. Then you would never be going to start because you would keep postponing tackling your dreams and they will remain nothing more than a beautiful but unreal cloud of dreams. Your starting point is not a certain schedule. It is now(!) today(!), if you can immediately. Just start, you are going to continue anyway but at least you have tackled it now. This is what I took into consideration for myself: Living now, doing things now, living for myself, now. Because this is when the future is taking place: now.

Trend: Summer Denim

A summer without denim is like winter without leather. So can you keep talking about denim being a summer-trend at all or does it not already belong to the standard-equipment of your summer-wardrobe? Anyway, you can wear denim all over, denim on denim such as a jacket with shorts or you can break it down to half of it and at least take your denim-jacket on as key-item. Because either way the soft item is still bold and prominent compared to the rest of the typical summer-items.

Trend: Maxi Dress

Our lost summer-love has found its way back to the spotlight: the romantic maxi-dress with floral pattern highlighting it. I already fell in love with this dress by ONLY last year but somehow did not actually find the occasion or rather vibe to wear it. The more special the experience was this year wearing this dress to work and simply feeling like swaying away into a wonderful dreamland. The elastic worked into this dress makes it easy to regulate the length especially for petite people like I would categorize myself into.

It-Piece: Golden Shoes

Sparkle and shine inside out always and forever. But as “Nanny Fine” portrayed by Fran Drescher stated that sequins look vulgar worn before it is dark outside shine in what pharaohs have shone in under the endless sunlight: gold. You can do that best with a most essential of all accessories which you would always have with you: shoes. Golden shoes are an absolute it-piece for this season. Talking in the language of Fall4Me by Johanna Karajan you could call it the accessory of the month.
