Hello my beloved readership,
the Upper Eastside chic #4 brings the reinvention for suits in summer. Get ready for suit vests with their perfect match: the shorts. Check it out here.
Some people think that they are free from mistakes, do they not? Should I tell you something? This is absolutely impossible. We all have flaws and make mistakes. But it is not about having flaws or not. Have you ever come across the sentence “know when it is time to give up”? I know, no one gives up easily – which is a great thing to keep on keeping on. But do not mistake this one with the actually megalomaniac idea of doing everything right or good. There is not something like this. People have their weaknesses and people make mistakes. Just because no one ever told them that their behavior is a red flag at some point or just because some people succeeded to yell themselves against others giving them contra it does not mean that everything they do is right. You should be cautious with these kind of toxic people. They may often not realize their weaknesses as this goes beyond their comprehension but still it is not a free-trip to do anything.
We all have our qualities. But we all also come to our limits at some point. It is not said that we could not surpass our limits. But we should definitely know our weaknesses. We should realize when it is time for us to tell ourselves “this is something I in fact did” wrong/bad/mistakenly – this behavior was not alright. The little catch there is sadly remains that we are still dealing with the majority of world citizens to be so called xSTx-personalities – observing thinkers like I told you about here. They neither think further than one mile ahead of what aftermath their behavior could have and much less than that they consider other people’s feelings by that. It is these people who do not let anyone tell them what to do or say anything about their actions – on the contrary you know how they would tend to behave.
It always sounds like I would be just waiting to tell someone that something was wrong with them. But that is not how it is. I have a problem however with people thinking that there would not be anything they would do wrong. And it is not even about pointing out something about someone or even pointing at someone but it is about me missing self-reflection in these people. Because they would definitely not surpass any limits if they do not meet them. So people, just, know your weaknesses.

Trend: Suit vest & the matching shorts
Dresscode business-chic but the hot temperatures are being rebellious? For 2024 it feels like the Upper-Eastside-style has found the solution. Skip the suit, leave the vest and exchange the pants with shorts. Like this you create the ultimate business-look for summer. On top shorts are much more comfortable and practical than the pencil-skirt which you would alternatively wear to a suit. Particularly this style collects a lot of good memories in it. I wore it for my private-shopping-date at Liz Malraux’ pop-up store in her mansion in Rosengarten in the south suburbs of Hamburg. Basically you would wear her fashion when you go shopping at hers. I myself however chose a sophisticated yet comfortable shopping-outfit which in which you can easily take on and off. However I leaned on her current style with my polka-dot-blouse and picked her creations in my accessories which made a perfect match with the fringy pendant. I was enchanted by the designer’s high grade on my outfit and numerous compliments.
