Hello my beloved readership,

red is the third and last of the three main trend-colors of the autumn/winter 2023/2024 season. Check the trend here and discover a matching make-up-trend.

I cannot believe it myself but it is 2024 and I have already been writing articles from and for 2024. Guess what, I even keep turning my device to my husband telling him “see? Does this photo look familiar to you? Yes, exactly, this is something that you have shot just very recently”, getting at him having kept asking what he is shooting all the looks for and telling me to just make a cut somewhere and start over from the most recent as possible point. Even he was impressed that I published more than 50 articles in the approximately passed two months. And no, I have not been sitting at my advice 24/7. Yes, it was me who did the major part of the household and yes, the apartment does look good. I performed at a concert, I went to music classes, I celebrated important event with my family and my friends, I dedicated some time to my children as well as my husband and our friends. I participated in a television show and did many more.

I am very well aware that this sounds way too unreal and I have to admit that even I never believed that I would have made it here. It was the complete opposite that after every milestone my anxiety grew bigger because I thought that I have fallen flat and could not collect another energy to keep going. To be honest sometimes I felt lost what to write about or how to write a good text about a topic, especially when I had to write and make up more than one article within one day. I was really stressed out and felt torn apart. But what will you do? You cannot give up when you have come this far. You have to climb up that mountain because it is much scarier to move back than to keep moving. In fact I considered it helpful to write about holiday-destinations in between. What once was a laborious enduring turned out to be the refreshment I did not know that I need it. So here come the current trends, my word to current topics and on the whole a blog brought to new life. Once I get my routine I will definitely also make up the Babylove by Fall4Me section.

Trend-Color: Red

If you remember an article I had published not long ago here about the color light grey I already told you that there are three must-wear colors for the cold season of 2023/2024: Light grey, lemon yellow and last but not least red. Since I was very much retarded to keep my blog up to date I meanwhile learned from the February issue of the German Cosmopolitan that the trend of red maintains for longer than just the autumn/winter season. The color of love even remains longer than just for Valentine’s Day. Personally, I very much loved the phrasing that we are wearing red beyond Valentine’s Day to maintain the love.

As you see, my make-up is also adapted to the red theme. This is because independently from the red trend red make-up (breaking the rule of either or) on eyes and lips is as well an autumn trend from 2023. But since it is hard to find red eyeliner I was creative and simply picked a red lip-liner to fulfill the favour.

Also I went without black and white as contrasting accent and chose cognac which has a shade of red mixed with brown to emphasize the strength of red.
