Hello my beloved readership,
shine and glitter throughout the upcoming winter. The darker it gets outside the bolder you become from the inside. Check out the contrasting trend here.
When emotions are not welcome and you do not get anywhere with your principles logical thinking must help out – intuitive logical thinking, not just taking things as they are but questioning options. Would there have been other ways? Is there something I could have done to make a change? Should I have acted differently? And after so many cases I have to conclude: what does it help to put on any drama, give in to any emotions let go to show anyone any human side of yours? If these people would have a spark of humanity in themselves they would not let you go. But this is how the business-world ruled by stony S-personalities is: reckless. This is how I have become the really tough business woman with no fear of losses or like some other could say: what else am I to lose? I can shoot it all out anyway.
Listen up, no one who does you bad deserves your tears. You have enough time and space to cry your anger and frustration out later on and keep on rising again after the fall. But first of all you have to complete your duty to get up, hold your head up and walk out before you are even asked to according to “stop wasting my time, I need to look for a plan b now”. Being out is not the actual loss. The way you handle it is decisive on this. At some point I learned that the most genius way of leaving and making the decision makers actually regret their decision and look for the mistake at themselves is to wish your opponent all the best. Simply that: “Fare well. I wish you all the best. Bonne chance.”
It is in fact that way that you always meet twice in life and once you do you should not feel about yourself to be the one hiding or running out of reach as fast as you can. It should be the other ones to do so. Once you can be able to reach this point where you feel steady enough to simply invest your energy into those who cherish you instead of chasing after those who cannot handle you there is no one who can take your actual strength and pride from you.
“(…) a shine passing through indeed lightens up your life and those of the people you pass by.”
Trend: Silver, Glitter, Shine
Silver – yes! Glitter – always! Shine – ooh yes! I cannot help myself – maybe it was because at that time I was watching the finale of the series “Gossip Girl” and got contacted with the Upper Eastside style but in fact during pre-winter 2023 I was very much into elegance, glamour and shine and expressed it with eye-catching items such as shiny pants or a glitter turtleneck. Glitter and shiny material always make you feel fabulous and manage to lift you up. At least I always feel like wearing an armor because a shine passing through indeed lightens up your life and those of the people you pass by.
Make-Up Trend: Pastel Eyes
You are going to remember that in one of my previous articles about black lips here I had written down that you either highlight your eyes or your lips but would not paint both of them either bright or dark. It is contrasts you need to create so it behaves with the trend of dark berry lips (see below). To my dark berry look I decided to add shades of lilac and soft pink. These are light versions of the lipstick-color and create a perfect match and smooth color gradient. This is because at the same time it does not look like you have done a colorful mess with too many different colors on your face.
Make-Up Trend: Dark Berry Lips
It is autumn, you are allowed to wear dark berry lips. You are even asked to take out your dark berry lipstick — or make sure to equip yourself with one if you have not yet. Meanwhile and throughout the years strong lipsticks that go beyond red, shades of pink or nude have established their place as common make-up-element rather than being regarded with and unwelcoming strangeness. However since this season is all about the inner strength of the female gender demonstrated to the outside the establishment of the dark berry lipstick (at least for autumn since it was a trend last year too as you can see here) is long overdued.
