Dear readers,
Karlovy Vary is a popular as well as famous health resort in one of the most worth visiting countries in the world. Read here five reasons to travel there.
1. The Beautiful Architecture
Czech architecture is one of its kind: historical, colorful, impressive and it makes you feel like you are finding yourself in a fairy tale. On top there come their very famous gardens and dreamlike flower arrangements. Now that I am looking back at our trip to Karlovy Vary you could hardly put your camera away because there was so much to see and capture not only when you already enter the city and have not even arrived in the heart of it but already on your way with the rapeseed fields and churches for example on the highway. This made the one hour of driving very pleasant and enjoyable.

2. Legendarily Healing Sources
Karlovy Vary probably is one of the most famous health resorts in the world. A major reason for that definitely are the healing sources that almost have legendary traits. Therefore it is not a surprise that a popular and recommendable souvenir or authentic regional gift for yourself or your dear ones would be one of the carafes which you can drink these medical and magical waters of the sources with. There are as well fridge magnets that have these shapes. Caution: with the magnets you have to be very careful as they are very fragile.
The temperature of the water varies from source to source. We enjoyed water of 60 degrees. There are written guides at every source. On top this benefit is as well a fun for kids.

3. Mad Macarons
The Macarons in the MadRabbit Macaron Bar are of course the complete opposite of that term. Approximately at halfway of your tour through the city center you find a cafe with not only delicious Czech masterclass patisserie but as well in pretty candy color that gives you of the rockabilly flair from the 50s. This ambiente makes you enjoy your stay or wish to stay and take a rest even more. Even if the owner of the cafe has changed since last year the cafe still remained at the same place with the same flair under the name ATLANTIC. If you are still interested in the original cafe itself you can still find it in the capital Prague or visit it online here.
Hint: Go without a classical coffee specialty and order one of their amazing shakes. Cheating is allowed once in a while.

4. James Bond Location The Grand Hotel “Pupp”
Some people enjoy music, enjoy the show or enjoy the music. For what concerns me, personally I enjoy diving deeper into the materia and discover the world behind the scenes. As an admirer of the James Bond movies (even though I cannot actually count Craig to my most favorite one) I was thrilled about the idea to visit one of the James Bond [– Casino Royale] locations just like I am fascinated to see locations I have visited or regularly am at on television. Anyway I would at least for that suggest James Bond fans to visit Karlovy Vary.

5. Czechia is Always Worth Visiting
You do not have to be me or my sister to recognize the magic of Czechia. May it be the historical yet fabulous architecture, the kind hearted people that are willing to help you and make you feel safe as young attractive woman late in the evening or the patisserie with a high level of craftsmanship. Whether it is Prague, Karlovy Vary or even Brno – Czechia is a destination you do not want to miss.
Therefore I additionally have to refer to my Instagram account again, where I am going to share more impressions of Karlovy Vary with you as I had taken more than 150 photos. Stay tuned and follow me under @JohannaKarajan or the #Fall4Me.
The outfit I had worn for this occasion was my pink all over outfit which may have been to hot for that day but which my husband was very thankful for as you could easily find me within the crowd. Check it out once again here.

I want to send out the biggest thanks to this place because one of my dearest best friends loves it so much that in the very last minute she decided to spend the day with us there and take the ride thus her pain. Words cannot describe how I feel about the friendship you give and moments like these that make you special as you are. You know who you are and I love you!
Love, Johanna
[…] it is that friend who lives in East-Germany who accompanied us to Karlovy Vary, which I wrote about here, even though she was not feeling at her best. This is something I would definitely never forget her […]
