Hello my dear readership,

autumn is kicking off, not only with a large variety of trendy it-pieces that can be gathered to one look but also a key-piece which reveals a surprise.

You cannot expect to be born knowing and being able to do everything without the help of anyone just like no one can expect someone who applies for a junior position in a small business to have a master-degree, ten years of working-experience in top companies and be the super empathetic team-player who is self-confidently extroverted and obsequiously introverted and obedient at the same time (attention, sarcasm coming: hello ESTJs!). It sounds as paradox as it actually is, is it not? Learning new things and keeping on learning is as precious as relearning basic abilities. Accepting that every person is a master of a certain trade (mechatronics, software-engineering, medicine, cooking, communication, art and design, music and many more) and that you cannot be the number one at all of that is human and natural. That does not mean that you could not train yourself something new or anything more but it helps you being realistic about yourself and your surrounding.

Furthermore it will help you to understand that it is not a shame not being able to do something just like that but that is takes training and studying to get there. A pianist whom you admire keeps on practicing to come this far. A star-cook learns under the instructions of a mentor and even a trend-setter keeps looking around themselves to get inspired by what is lying in the air. All these people are working hard to fulfill themselves and their dreams it is not like here they are and this is their God-given gift (at least not to the full degree). They do not regard feedback as personal attack but as a chance to grow over themselves. This is a hard one especially if you grew up thinking or feeling that there is not going to be another chance for you, there is!

You have to see that learning is a gift born out of feedback and growing out of the passion you created in mastering these things. This is something that you you because you got inspired by others doing so. People who work hard would never criticize your progress but praise your effort in keeping on trying. It is never too late to start learning something new again because the gift it gives you is like being born again.

Autumn Trend-Collection:
Key-Piece, Strong Colors, Hiking-Boots, Inconsistency in Style & Layering

New season, new rules; especially during the transition from the hot to the cold seasons of the year the break is clearer: The fabrics of the clothes are thicker, the colors basically darker, you see more black, less white and the bolder it gets you know that rain, wind and darkness is not far off. But it looks like the cold season kicking off in 2022 goes everything but that direction. You do have black and you do have hiking-boots instead of sneakers or ballerinas as must-wear on your feet and even if your look does definitely look more strict and warmer the colors stay happy, strong and bright. At least when it comes to key-piece-looks that are the above-all autumn trend to start into this season. So it is no surprise that logically I build up my look on an item I would firstly look at when I look at a person: The torso.

So I took a colorful red double-breast-buttoned blazer (with golden buttons on top) and created a look inspired by someone who probably set that trend before it was cool: Katrin Siska from Vanilla Ninja had worn a very similar style for a Valentine’s Day event that she arranged in 2011. Vanilla Ninja is famous for an elegant yet rocky wardrobe but Katrin, in particular I love and admire for her very fashionable business outfits taking stylish office more than to the next level.
