Hello my dear readership,
minimalist maxi-dresses have been a timeless want-to-copy-style latest since the Olsen-twins. This summer it is time for us to take on the unusual.
People smile, people scream, people make charity and people can be triggered of the smallest things. Our society is hugely divided, pretty much as if it would find itself in a civil war. Whether the Corona-pandemic along with the lock-down rules or other crises are responsible for that or the egoism is pretended to be reinvented you cannot tell. But one thing you can say for sure is that the society has never been more united as it is in these extremely divided times without even knowing it. Pardon me, perhaps considering would rather be thee more appropriate word to use. Every single person of our society does not realize what a big story lies behind every act done or repressed, word spoken or left unspoken by each one of us. I am not talking about a justified way of egoism but rather struggles we all have in life and are yet to find out.
“What may be a burden for someone may be an unfulfilled dream for someone else.”
– Fall4Me
“How are you?”, can you imagine what a huge impact this simple and common question actually has? While Western business-orientated cultures and societies rather prefer to dismiss this question with a simple “fine”-reply it seems like people-oriented societies prefer to be more open about their situation. Then again even with close ones we wonder “do we really want to burden our beloved ones with our own problems?” or “would our private problems turn us to low performers towards our performance-oriented bosses?”. Do not question it any longer and do not be shocked, it is clear that even if it may not seem so we all have a keyboard to write on a box symbolizing it as our package or burden we are bearing on our hands or shoulders trying to carry on. What is more important: Do not judge. What may be a burden for someone may be an unfulfilled dream for someone else.
The problems are huge and the problems exist and collecting them all together we could be divided into groups with same or similar issues once we get to sum them up. While fighting for the big struggles in life there are still personal, inside conflicts to overcome before dedicating ourselves fully to the higher purpose.
Trend: Minimalist Maxi-Dress
Black in summer – especially a hot, nearly desertlikely hot and dry summer as it is? A controversial question. Science says black is a color that can easily burn. Apart from that a bright, festive and relaxing season such as summer is rather calling for strong and bright colors rather than a bold statement such as black. This color probably is rather something for people who are really living black as an attitude beyond fashion or simply the minimalist style in general which has black as core element. Let us be honest, have we not watched exactly these people admiring them for their iconic style wishing we could nearly adapt to this coolness? We have that is why here are some key elements of minimalist style:
- an unexpected pop of color to an all black ensemble
- barely-wear make-up
- maximalist accessories
- playful textures breaking the basically simple yet statementing style.
Trend: Back Décolleté
Greek islands are not always necessary for flowing fabrics and a lot of skin in summer – I can not mention this enough, especially if it is as hot in a Germany metropolis. But so far dressing into my special sexy summer wardrobe has rather been a privilege I shared on holiday at the French Riviera rather than in a city where many people would recognize me on the streets (but back to that topic at a later point). However just like the minimalist style belongs to the fashionable masterclass you can show an inconspicuous yet exciting back décolleté in just the same minimalist way and be a trendsetter to the power of two within a concrete jungle. Because summer is not where you are but what you make of it wherever you are.
