Hey, hey fashionistas & fashionistos,
fashion goes maths – do you remember how impatiently we could not wait to get rid of that subject? The current trends can be translated to formulas.
If you have written the news-update in my last article here then you know that I am writing from the future rather than to prepare from the past. But this one I would not like to miss for the world. It is incredible that my blog has been existing for ten years at this at this point. Regarding my personal recap of this time I realize what a plenty this is: graduating (almost three times), getting married, having two children… and this being just the most superficial things. Now you could probably say that depending which age group you belong to ten years are not that significant. But trust me, they are. After all you do not get asked typically “where do you see yourself in ten years” for no reason. Ironically just exactly these ten years ago I was in fact asked this question where I see myself in ten years, so basically now.
My yearbook as witness to have it engraved – and either you can call me idealist, fighter for my goals (if I already had that much courage and assertion back then) or medium, something I am often called by the people in my life I have in fact pretty much achieved everything I had stated back then. I must admit that this makes me quite proud but there was way more I achieved or took aim to achieve. Getting back to my blog and its 10th anniversary I can say that me and my blog have seen good and hard times with the long delays and the feeling of duty to make it up at any cost but what keeps such a bond and relationship alive in times of fast-living for me is not giving up on my blog no matter what comes in between.

Trend: The same Color twice in a look
We can argue about the colors used whereas pastels are always trendy in spring but one thing is clear: embracing one color with one other from two sides is not only a trend but an attitude of timeless elegance. I for myself have worn this trend with two colors to the power of two which underlines the trend twice as much. Having not intentionally created a color-blocking-theme or a pastel-palette I want to show in three (or two layers) how color to the power of two – one same color in one look divided by one other color can look like. The result is hidden in the details such as the lipstick which is just as tiny part of your look or you shoes where you do not look necessarily at first. These details create a significant meaning to your overall style to work. As single core color I chose another trend.
Trend: Pastel Yellow
My sister called this look “an angel’s kiss” as it partnered up with my daughter’s (her goddaughter’s) in the colors. I could never imagine a better compliment on this basically simple style. It makes the sun within my heart shine as brightly as the core color that is standing all alone in the center of this look: pastel yellow. While pastels are usually always popular in spring in 2022 this certain color stands out even more being under the spotlight. Yellow may not be the most popular of all colors and a challenge to wear with its different shades but making it stand out by the fashion-industry definitely is a good occasion for people to give it a try and dive deeper into this color. After all it is the color of one of the most important resources we have in our world, inside and outside.

[…] The nail-do at Thanh Nails has somehow become a routine no matter where the main nail-stylist is located and no matter what has been in between. You make-up a date via WhatsApp, you have no shyness to feel yourself home and they know what you want meanwhile. The top comes with the talks you get you have which makes time pass even faster according to the wording “oh, is it already over?”. What I like most however is the studio being empty as it is during the noons (especially during the week). That gave the whole atmosphere a special kind of calmness and relaxation. I mostly went out when my daughter was sleeping. You already get to figure out a routine of typical sleeping periods to go out for yourself have a walk (especially under the sun), have a treatment and regenerate for your newborn baby. You do not necessarily need the widest variety of colors in the nail studio to actually have some exciting nail-do. Mixing different tooling can have an as strong effect here. All you need to do is having a shiny contrast to a matte nail-polish. Check out a style with the trend color here. […]
