Hello my beloved readership,
it is going to be a colorful spring: color-blocking, colorful opulence and pink bags are awaiting. Therefore we should also get ready to fire some confetti.
Women can congratulate women on woman’s day, mothers can congratulate their fellow mothers on Mother’s Day and everyone can wish every father a happy Father’s Day even if they are not their proper dad… I do not know what about you but this is how I regard it. After all it is not about who congratulates but whom the corresponding occasions are for. People should not be so stern to make claim to only direct straight congratulations regardless the habits in one‘s country. Meanwhile I dare to say that somehow we became a global population (which is not bad actually) in a modern equal world where not the outer ideal matters to stay young but the open-minded spirit and apart from that even the most old established cultures are not mean with congratulations but rather thought-so developed ones from the west. But dear people, it is not about you today or any other day to celebrate someone, some more or a group of people, it is about those to be honoured on a special day and making them feel special even more on a special day of honour!
Compliments, love, charity – they all do not cost a thing, I always keep saying that among others in my article about the boost-effect which you can read again here. Still people are acting as if showing an act of love or kindness would demand something from someone. …and then you get mad about the confronting question if there is a further intention behind your action of reserve… Anyway!
It is not necessary to make a big deal of congratulations if you are not in any bad terms with a concerned person to be congratulated. The eternal back and forth of the nerve-racking “Have they congratulated, too?”, “Have they thought of you when…?” – questions of who comes first or who is more important is really not fashionable anymore. Instead I am rather getting the thrills when you can even congratulate each other more like: ”Congratulations!“, ”Thank you! Congratulations!“
“(…) pink bags which are just like color-blocking nothing easier than done that yet a challenge.”Fall4Me
Color-blocking is a trend that is natural yet demanding at the same time. While it is liked to be mixed up with the so-called “patchwork” fashion when one pair of shoes is worn in different colors color-blocking works differently: one, two, three. Your look needs to contain at least three different gaudy colors such as cobalt blue, emerald green, ultraviolet, red or pink. Other than a shade-on-shade-look each item of your look needs to be “blocked” by the item lying next to it in another color. Damped exceptions such as black shoes seem to be alright in these terms. What matters for this year is for your color-blocking style to scream: “Spring is here!”
Since returned congratulations are twice the pleasure so color-blocking perfectly works with two more trends of colorful opulence (in the following) and pink bags which are just like color-blocking nothing easier than done that yet a challenge.
Trend: Colorful Opulence
Opulence? What is that supposed to mean? If you are also reading about trend alerts sometimes and need to understand what they are about first then welcome to the club. Concerning the colourful opulence I have had a flash-moment of ”YAY!“ when I figured out that it is something I have already integrated in my constant style anyway – just like congratulating. The colorful opulence means big earrings in gaudy colors and eye-catching shapes according to the motto “more is more”. They make a good addition to the major color-blocking-trend as mostly you find them in one color yet gleaming as this is natural for earrings and jewelry anyway. With them I always feel like a rich, high-society lady from old America.
Trend: Pink Bags
Pink is not simply pink, you know, there is coral pink (or was it red?), fuchsia, berry shades, Barbie-pink(?)… and someone tell me to just pick any pink bag? Sure, why not?! I mean, there may be a huge variety of gaudy pink but in the end pink is in fact pink which means that any pink is allowed for this season. The only place where you would need to be careful here is when you want to integrate many different items in pink you need to pay attention that there is not going to be a clash between different shades of pink (especially in addition with red). Therefore color-blocking-styles like to be mixed with warm and cold colors.
