Print-Mix Between Amazon & Jungle: Priorities

Hello my dear readership,

autumn promises to be and stay Scandinavian with colors of nature. But how about a print-mix between amazon and jungle made in Scandinavia? See it here!

“You can have it all, just not all at once”, this is how the Greek fashion blogger and an agreeable acquaintance of mine, Konstantina Tzagaraki – wherever she may be and whatever she may be doing right now, may God always hold this kind soul dear(!) – once entitled one of her blog articles. Ever since these words have never left my mind. Do you also know that feeling when your eyes or ears catch something which goes through your mind right into your heart and affects you in a positive way? These words are just one of numerous of such examples for me and the busier my life has become within these at least seven years ever since I have read these words at least with two jobs, a marriage, a movement, Bachelor of Arts studies and then Master of Arts studies, meanwhile almost two children and all other priority duties you have as wife and mother. Then again you know about these wonderful unforeseen disasters which come all at once like a hurricane.

And what about me time you ask? Well, you know that at times I feel about this blog, which is kind of my baby too that I have raised for nine and a half years, as a burdening duty the longer the queue is and the more articles I have to prepare and write in a short time (just like now). I feel like I am going out of inspiration to write good texts when I am forcing myself out of my writer’s block. But days are limited and then you have to decide what is most important in that moment. Of course, just covering your basic needs over a long period besides from your duties and pressure to perform which causes you a lot of stress subconscious is everything but fulfilling. I know that just too well. You would need some time off to dedicate to your hobbies even if just for 15 minutes to gain new energy but basically what matters is the here and now and what is important and which finish is closest visible. According to that you need to set your priorities and work them off one after the other. Then you will have it all eventually. Apart from that sometimes in fact the way is the goal and your ambition the energy that keeps you going even without that me-time when you see progress and success. Last but not least always keep in mind that one day all your problems will be solved and you will look back at this stressful but well structured time with pride.

“[…] where there is the amazon a jungle is not far off.”

Fall4Me

Not Far Off

Can anyone tell me where is the difference between a jungle and the amazon? Well, if you would need to do that then the look along with the article would not stand now. What I mean to say with this rhetorical question is that I have been thinking a lot about how to convert this look into reality especially when you are limited in your closet being this pregnant. My conclusion in the end has been that both of them do not differ that much from each other: where there is the amazon a jungle is not far off. It is just like with the priorities: they sound different at first and as if you could not get everything arranged together but in the end both lead to the same. As this trend comes from the Scandinavian fashion week I have worked with colours in the first place and used pattern ang print-mix in the details. Subtile yet wild.
