Hello my beloved readership,
happy July! Even in the midsummer season our spring feelings are fully ongoing especially for ourselves. Read about the reward here.
Self-love, I think my eyes have never crossed another word this inflationary in media than this year. There are even self-love-activists – seriously?
Sure, self-love is important, definitely, but when so many people even far from social sciences or deep thinking (especially in the fashion- and lifestyle-industry) start to talk about it. It feels for me as if it was just some kind of trend that is up-to-date today but again forgotten by tomorrow – such as many political topics. Also I start to doubt the emotional seriousness necessary for this topic and the corresponding hard experiences made and I can also tell you why. Many people who are talking about self-love in the means of “love yourself” are simply insecure about themselves for obvious reasons (weight, voice, etc.). They are doing hard accepting themselves the way they are and still let themselves get affected by simply expressions or trivial opinions – opinions! Do you want to know what my brother who is one of the most intelligent people says about opinions? Only stupid people find important have an opinion for everything and feel the duty to raise their voices. Do you want to know what an empath such as myself says about this? He is absolutely right! But more about this at other terms. What is most shocking about these people raising their voice loudest for self-love is that obviously these people have made it somewhere: according to their age they have the necessary maturity, they have a firm job and they have people around them whose love towards them should be more than necessary to not make them break at every tiny thing.
The way I regard self-love furthermore is self-care – the way you treat yourself emotionally. Because if you spend your whole life every day (I dare to say 99,9 per cent) caring for everyone but you you will not realize that sooner or later you might break from it. Then you really take a lifelong damage from it and not be of help for anyone any longer. Never forget to from time to time also reward yourself and not be too harsh to you judging yourself. It is still important to be self-reflecting to be a good person and pass this on to your children, besides from people doing that job for you anyway but stop punishing yourself more than you would need to and caress yourself sometimes at some milestones. You have the right to do that even far from healthy egoism.

Spring Feelings with Floral Print, Transparency & Maxi Pleated Skirts
Fanciful floral print, alluring transparency and feminine maxi pleated skirts: this midsummer is the girlish-dream come true for every woman – not only those who got married or still are to get married – with all the trendy elements that bring out the most of femininity of all women with three trends combined in one look. Talking about the look I could fulfill myself a dream with the biggest elements of this outfit, the skirt and the blouse: I was still lucky to get both of them at the very end of the season in my size as they were almost sold out and furthermore wear it having one of my best hair days during this pregnancy for my husband’s 30th birthday and shooting it for this blog. This is definitely one of the outfits I feel most connected to as shortly after my wedding it was a goal I achieved by myself when I first saw it on the puppets.
