Hello my beloved readership,
the time before Christmas we already like to be chic and cozy in the same cold time after summer. As it is also a dangerous time to get sick easily even without Corona-pandemic it is important to once in a while get calmness.
Summer as well as spring (but moreover summer) is a crazy time. Everything is allowed in there. Free, unbound, colorful celebrating each day and each time of the day as the longer days (and even white nights where it is not getting dark in the night at all for example in the Baltic state Estonia) and high-season of vacation would not leave us any other choice. Not for no reason it is that the sun with the vitamin D it contains strengthens our immune system and constantly charges us with positive energy which is not only lived but as well expressed in our just as colorful, bohemian, versatile summer style.
However autumn is a more defined and straight time: summer is over, we are back home, work has started again, the days are getting shorter, the first signs of winter blues are coming to the surface, the weather is definitely colder and more merciless and (or but) we are supposed to make the best of it with the energy we have charged in summer until we can get another rest during Christmas-time. Sounds tough enough also without a second wave of Corona-pandemic and lockdown-threats, does it not? In fact radically changeable times such as autumn but as well spring are dangerous times for us to be hit by a sickness if we do not look out but apart from that there is another major reason: I may indeed belong to these metropolitan-natives who live according to the motto “hectic life enlivens the spirit” but I did learn something with the years: stronger than out mind, our heart and our spirit is our body and – whether we accept it or not – that is sending us signals once we have taken it too far for too long without taking a little break once it a while.
They say that the older you get the less you get sick, logically you do that because over the years you have built antibodies, still you do have to surrender, better earlier than later because you get to know your body better and know what you can expect when from it. I have learned that whenever I feel tired, weak or any other kind of disease my body is sending me signals to take a break for the day and have a rest. Meanwhile I seem to know it ahead and am pleased to enjoy calmness between the single duties and recharge for a bit to keep on marvelously inside out.

Calmness as Charge for Chic
Autumn is defined because it calls back to work fully empowered with your sophisticated outfit with which you express looking forward to a glorious Christmas time (as the first Christmas-decoration and filming already appears or rather takes place in September) accompanied by maintained embracing warmth, light coziness. Because autumn is not summer. If we fear to get stopped by diseases everyone of us must learn to integrate a certain degree of calmness in his or rather her life. Believe me, during pregnancy and breast-feeding time this was probably one of the biggest challenges for me: to forget about time, to let something lie there, to switch off your mind and just focus on the calmness, the moment and yourself and moreover not at all in a careless way in order not to let yourself go.
Compact, easy and classy as this old wisdom is an everyday-life look combined with a day-clutch bag which you would usually wear in the night with a cocktail dress nowadays. As autumn it-piece 2020 this bag is preferredly worn the 60s to 80s style sophisticated vintage style during the day time in a bigger version. Ask the women of the Denver Carrington-clan.
