Hello my beloved readership,
they are back in trend: the 60s style and transparent bags. With this vintage style and it-piece you will be fashionably old fashioned this summer.
There is one thing that bothers me these days, the further we go in time the more we are craving for vintage fashion of the commonly called good old days. We celebrate the 90s, the 70s and today the 60s and the circle keeps moving constantly portraying our longing for the time back then when there was originality, peculiarity and boldness. Exquisite fashion and lifestyle as we love it simply. Being seen and recognized. But if it comes to the attitude of our same society old fashioned values are run down to death. Our world consists of freethinkers and fighters against the system however the irony of this story is that while conservative traits are consequently blocked and conservative people branded as intolerant conspiracy theorists exactly these people recycle wherever they can. What should I say? Let them be.
But allow me to tell you the following: it is not all bad about conservative values as some people would want it to be. I mean, I belong to the people that stick to Barney Stinson’s “new is always better” however if you would allow yourself for just one minute to think of it the existing system has worked and still works even with its dubious methods. The methods nevertheless only seem dubious because for a world that allows more – maybe too much – freedom and individuality is not used to tradition and togetherness. It may seem strict, unfair and uncomprehending but only because no one cares to go deeper and understand that the conservative system wants to keep us from failures.
“(…) What is this prize of freedom and is it actually really worth it?”

Nothing than the Old School
Sometimes people are willing to give away more security in order to have more freedom but what is this prize of freedom and is it actually really worth it? Being conservative does not mean that they would not allow something new or step forward but it stands for keeping things that are in danger to get lost in a world where everyone things he or she would know and be capable of doing anything on their own. But one single person cannot know and do anything especially not alone. We need our fellow people just like we need our old fashioned traits that were delivered by nature. For what concerns me, I am an urban person and I love it. I am a global person and I stand behind it with a 100 per cent and I would never stop the process of modernity but since some things are easy to have meanwhile some other things have become difficult to find. It was in one of my favorite movies, “The Incredibles” by PIXAR where the heroes were accused for their super powers to harm the society more than they would help and from one day to another the celebrated heroes disappeared. As the world was in serious danger by wannabe heroes and the old heroes intervened and saved the world the same man that accused them almost a life ago said: “You see? This is how it has to be done”
“Yes, this is the old school.”
“There is nothing than the old school.”
If we can be happy about fashion revivals of old decades and even dance better to the songs of our childhood we should as well maintain our fight for our traditionally passed-on values and not exterminate them completely because this is the mix and match we need and that works like bringing two trends together.
