Lace & Glitter: Not Bad

Hello my beloved readers,

for the days between the celebrations we are going casually chic wearing lace and glitter. Then we also take the moment to realize things are not bad.

Some time ago I told you that things are absolutely okay. I kept repeating it by any given occasion and they still are because they are. But what would be an equally good answer especially when your fellows would nervously deliver you not so good messages and fearfully expect a freaking-out on your side and when you cannot necessarily answer that it is okay because it would not be appropriate? “(It is) not (so) bad…” equal to “never mind” or just to shrug.

“‘Not bad’ is not […] an easy out.”
– Fall4Me

But why would someone reply this way? Because this person does not care or because this person wants to escape a potential problem to solve? Let me tell you it is none of those heartless motivations! “Not bad” is not the solution for an easy way out or a symbolizing that you would not care. Also you do not have to be totally dead of nerves to reply this way and actually mean it. Those who say that something is not bad know that it is not so bad as the one or other may fear. Either they say it because they want to send you courage like parents encourage their child when it falls and is about to cry or they say it because they in addition know that there would be much worse things than they are told and secondly (what is more important) they know that there is a solution for every problem.

Rose all Over the Year? Think of the Actual bad Things

Rose is the new black? Not quite… quite… at least it comes again and again – but remember my warning about this color! It came back in April, it stayed for May, it returned in June and after an autumn pause it is back for winter. Those of you who know me, know what I think about it but people(!) we need to cover the preferences of those tender elves who feel lost in black. Believe it or not there are some of this kind and if you still find it bad just like you regard other things as bad that might have been solved already or can be solved right away or would not even need to be solved at all as bad then think of the actual bad things not to feel better that you are not into this bad but to realize and cherish what you have and the state that you are in, to be thankful and to understand your good position and use to pass on an act of charity. Especially in times like these. We add glitter to lace because we add a piece of us into something we are yet to accept and shape.
